We are starting Magic the Gathering Sealed on Monday evenings.

6pm Reg, 6:30 play.  $18

All players will receive a Class Starter Deck (at random) and play with that deck straight out of the box.
First 25 players to register will receive a Landro’s Pet Loot code.
The event is not limited to 25
1st place will be mailed a Blazing Hippogryph loot card
and we will be giving out a Spectral Tiger as a random door prize

Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary; Re-Banned

He needed to go again, the advent of eldrazzi makes his mana prowess excel beyond any sort of fairness. He was previously banned, and unbanned because he wasn’t too overpowered against decks that could easily asquire the next card added to the banned list.

Tolarian Academy; previously considered powerful, obviously, but was certainly difficult to get a hold of in most of the decks that truly abused it. Expedition map removed that from the equation and now academy’s are either winning the game or blowing each other up!

Staff of Domination; Simply a problem card, with large amounts of mana a single artifact shouldn’t have such an impact on the game! Shutting down the opposing team and drawing you extra cards all by itself.

Channel; Our last card is another hit based on the eldrazzi masses. Turn 2/3 emrakhul was far to easily channeled on to the stack with an additional turn coming.

We have a preview copy of the Warhammer (fantasy) rule book, come in for a first look.

We’ve moved our monthly 40k tournament to this Sunday instead of this Saturday so as to not conflict with ‘ard boyz round 2.

We’ll be opening up the shop @ 10:00am.

And don’t forget we are open on Monday evenings for the rest of the summer.

We will be open starting next Monday (June 7th) during the evenings: 5pm-10pm.

We will be having a MTG tournament.  This one is Extended Plus.  Yes, we know it’s not a “real” format just yet, but we’re not letting that stop us.  $5 entry, reg @ 6, play @ 6:30.  Masks and forward.  If it’s banned in legacy, it’s banned in extended plus.

Saturday: Magic Nat’s Qualifier. REG @ 9am, play @ 10am.

Satuday: 40k ‘ard Boyz.  2500 pts, REG @ 10:45 am, play @ 11am

Sunday: Warhammer Fantasy REG @ 10:00am, play @ 10:30 am (yes, we are opening early for this one).

This summer (starting in June), we are going to be open Mondays from 5:30pm to 10pm.

We will be running some tournaments on Mondays, but we have not yet finalized the details.
